At South Texas, I get a list from the Dean of Admissions that contains the names and contact info of all the admitted students for the upcoming year who are either from Utah or who have attended a Utah school. I email all of the students and let them know we have an active chapter of the JRCLS and we’d love for them to join us. If they do choose to come, they have my email address and can immediately get involved (and they also have someone to ask questions about the school and law school life in general).
Our chapter has also tried to have at least one event a year that we can co-sponsor with the Jewish Law Students and Christian Legal Society. This has helped create goodwill towards our chapter in our law school community. |
