The National Conference of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society will be held at Pepperdine University School of Law overlooking the world-famous Malibu beach in sunny Southern California. The Conference was first hosted by Harvard Law School in 2004, followed by Columbia University in 2005, Georgetown University in 2006, and now Pepperdine University School of Law in 2007. The Conference will occur on the Friday and Saturday of Presidents? Day weekend, February 16 and 17, 2007. The Conference draws hundreds of law students and lawyers from around the world. In Malibu, prominent members and friends of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society will address a variety of legal issues. The Friday night dinner is set for the Reagan Presidential Library in the Airforce One Pavilion and will feature Senator Gordon Smith, musical entertainment and the world premier of the documentary film "J. Reuben Clark". This documentary film features insights into J. Reuben Clark's life from several scholars, historians and members of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
