William H. Wingo is Area Legal Counsel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with responsibility for the legal affairs of the Church in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. He is a 1976 graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Before his current assignment with the Church, his law practice focused on international business transactions. He previously served as international counsel for the Church in Central America and the Caribbean (1980-83) and Europe (1993-95).
